Santiago Fontenla is a Spanish journalist, radio host, music producer and Smooth Jazz curator with a career closely connected to radio and music broadcasting. For decades, he has worked in radio, directing and presenting music and information programs while developing a strong connection with the international Smooth Jazz scene. Today, he is the creator and director of SmoothJazz.club, a platform dedicated to promoting Smooth Jazz, Contemporary Jazz and the artists who continue to shape the genre. He is also behind the Smooth Jazz TOP 100, the official Smooth Jazz singles chart for Spain and LATAM, highlighting the songs and artists receiving the strongest support from radio audiences across the region. His programs are currently broadcast across 75 affiliated radio stations in Spain and LATAM, bringing new Smooth Jazz music to a growing international audience. Through SmoothJazz.club, Santiago also interviews and promotes artists, reviews new releases and albums, publishes music news and helps connect international Smooth Jazz musicians with listeners and radio programmers in Spain and Latin America.
