Santiago Fontenla is a Spain-based radio host, producer, and music curator dedicated to promoting smooth jazz and contemporary jazz to Spanish-speaking audiences around the world. He is the creator and host of the radio programs “Smooth Jazz Discover”, “Smooth Jazz TOP 100”, and “Smooth Jazz Classics”, each focusing on different aspects of the smooth jazz genre. These shows present the latest releases, chart hits, and timeless classics from the international smooth jazz scene, offering listeners a complete overview of the genre. Santiago Fontenla’s programs are currently broadcast on 71 radio stations and reach more than 250,000 listeners every week through FM radio, online stations, and digital platforms. This growing network has helped expand the presence of smooth jazz within Spanish-language media and connect international artists with new audiences. Through his shows, Santiago actively supports the global smooth jazz community by providing radio exposure for new releases and artist promotion, helping musicians reach listeners in Spain and other Spanish-speaking markets.
